All student athletes must maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and display good sportsmanship. Eligible athletes under 15 years of age will be chosen at the discretion of each team's coaches.
In order to participate on a Middle School Athletics team, a student must be registered in Aktivate each year in order to upload the required documents. We will no longer accept paper forms for eligibility. If trying out for multiple sports, the sports may be selected in the student's profile.
The required documents include:
Birth Certificate
Sports Physical
NFHS Concussion, Heat Illness, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course Completion Certificate
Consent and Release Form
Health Insurance Verification
DCPS Media Release
Middle School Sportsmanship Contract
