My name is Coach Dowling. I am currently the head coach of baseball at Lake Shore middle school. My assistant coaches’ names are Coach Lefils & Coach Tarre. They have both been coaching since the mid 1980s and actually coached me growing up.

Playing Experience~

I started playing baseball at 4 years of age. I played catcher and was a 4-year starter at Lee high school. I received a full athletic scholarship at Edward Waters College in 2002, where I also was the starting catcher all 4 years. I was awarded all conference and defensive player of the year for multiple years on both levels.

Coaching Experience~

I started my coaching career at Murray Hill athletic association in 2005. I have been coaching the Lake Shore Warriors middle school baseball team since 2011. I specialize in coaching pitchers and catchers. I have coached many players that have found themselves on college rosters and had a former player get drafted in the 2nd round of the MLB draft last year(2022). I look forward to coaching your athletes toward their best potential through consistent work and a positive outlook.
