Dear Parents and Guardians,

 My name is Casey Turano and I have had the distinct honor of serving as your child’s counselor at Mamie Agnes Jones. I taught children from pre-k through 3rd grade for 12 years and have been a school counselor for 3 years.

 As the counselor for your child, many services are available such as counseling for academic, career, personal and social needs. I meet with students in their classrooms and in small groups. Individual counseling is also available. We discuss a variety of topics such as character building, leadership, stress management, conflict resolution, abuse prevention, college and careers, to name a few.

 If your family has any needs or if your child is experiencing any difficulty or concern, please feel free to contact me in the counseling office. We also have connections with many community resources and district programs for those families in need of support.
