Student Instructions for Downloading Bluebook to a Student Laptop

In order for students to take a test offered by College Board (SAT, PSAT, Advanced Placement tests) on a school laptop they will have to have the College Board testing platform downloaded onto their student laptop. Below are the instructions for students to download the app.

  • Students will need to login to their laptop using their regular student login

  • Student will open Google Chrome and type "Bluebook Download" into the search bar

  • Student will click on the search result that reads "Download the Bluebook Digital Testing App - College Board"

  • Student will then click the link that reads "Download Bluebook now. "

  • A new window will open and the student will click the button that reads "Download for Windows"

  • A download icon will appear in the top right corner of the browser window, on the same line as where they would go to type in a web address.

    • Once the download is complete the icon will turn blue and a title of Bluebook Setup will appear in the downloads.

  • Student will click on the Bluebook Setup exe command file in the downloads and it will begin the process of downloading Bluebook to the student computer.

  • Once Bluebook downloads it should appear as a star icon on the desktop and students can click it and it will load the login screen to the Bluebook app.

Please note that student laptops will block the download links and downloads from Microsoft Edge.
