In cooperation with Duval County Public Schools, VyStar Credit Union built an operational branch at MHS.  It is the cornerstone of the VyStar Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship at Mandarin High School, and is operated completely by students.

Students interested in being one of those who run the branch should, with parents, submit the application by February 28. The application is available for download and printing below.  A letter of recommendation from a current instructor or coach is required to be submitted with the application.  Twenty-four applicants will be selected for interview by MHS and VyStar personnel.  Twelve of those interviewed will be offered student-manager intern positions, including paid internships with VyStar Credit Union.

The new academy is an academic and internship program for high school students to explore career opportunities in the financial services and business management industries.
