FSCJ Dual Enrollment

Medical Assisting Collegiate Career Program

Students learn how to maintain medical records, file insurance claims, complete billing task, record patient medical histories, take vital signs, and assist with exams. Students will gain practical experience for a medical assisting job in local hospitals, doctor's offices, and clinics.  The MA program is a total of 1300 clock hours including a 200-hour Practicum course completed in a physician's office for real world experience. This dual enrollment program is taught by an adjunct professor from FSCJ on the campus of APR.

  • Registered Medical Assistant


Welding Dual Enrollment Program

Students are able to earn high school and college credits simultaneously.  This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as welding technicians by the time they graduate.  Students will gain both academic theory and hands-on laboratory training.

Potential Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Welder - FCAW Plate

  • AWS Certified Welder - SMAW Stick

  • AWS Certified Welder - GMAW (MIG/TIG)
