Our mission at Rufus E. Payne is to establish and promote an environment that caters to the total needs of the child, our parents, and the community. This environment will stimulate and motivate learning through an academic and behavioral multi-tiered system of support by utilizing a blend of prescriptive and cooperative learning, hands-on activities, and inquiry-based instruction, which promotes student achievement.
