Hello!
I am Tammy Boyd, proud principal of San Mateo Elementary School.
It is an honor to serve the students, families, and staff of this incredible community. I have been a principal in Duval County Public Schools for the past 19 years, serving across five schools, and bring more than 25 years of experience within the district. Throughout my career, my guiding belief has remained the same: Every Child Comes First. I am deeply committed to ensuring that each student is supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Watching our students grow, achieve, and thrive in a positive school environment is truly the most rewarding part of my work.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our four children, and our four wonderful grandchildren.
This year marks another exciting chapter in our journey as our theme, “Where Your Story Begins,” reminds us that every student’s path is filled with opportunity, growth, and possibility.
