🧢👟 Middle School Dress Code: What to Wear & What to Avoid
To help everyone feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn, we’ve put together some simple dress code guidelines. Please take a moment to review them with your student!
🚫 What’s Not Allowed (New Updates!)
❌ No Crocs
❌ No jackets or sweatshirts with hoods
✅ Dress for Success: What to Keep in Mind
Keep it Comfortable & Appropriate
No overly tight or distracting clothing.
No exposed midriffs, bare backs, or revealing outfits.
Length Matters
Skirts, shorts, and dresses must be at least mid-thigh.
Say No to These Bottoms
No bicycle shorts, cut-offs, tights, or jeans with holes.
Headwear Stays Home
No hats, caps, sweatbands, sunglasses, or any head coverings inside.
No jackets or sweatshirts with hoods.
Shoes On, Please!
Shoes must be worn at all times.
No backless shoes, sandals, or Crocs.
Tops to Avoid
No mesh shirts, see-through tops, or net shirts.
Wear it Right
Shirts should not be tied up.
Pants should be worn at the waist—no sagging or exposed underwear.
Neat & Clean
Students should be clean and well-groomed.
No curlers, combs, or hair covers.
Costume Days
Costumes are only allowed with principal approval.
No Studs or Chains
Avoid studded clothing or excessive chains.
Keep It Kind
Clothing must not include:
Obscene or suggestive images or words
References to drugs, alcohol, or tobacco
Anything that could be hurtful or offensive to others
