Westside High School – Nursing Academy (Class of 2025)
Our own Westside High School first class of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) students completing their Basic Life Support “(CPR)” class in preparation for their upcoming clinicals at Brooks and St. Vincent. Other CNA students learned and practiced checking blood pressures and pulse readings on each other - teamwork!

Gaining Nursing Experience
Our Nursing Academy students here at Westside High School recently experienced an exciting opportunity as nursing students participating in their first rounds of clinicals at Brooks Rehab! Clinicals are a vital part of the CNA program as they provide students with hands-on, real-world experience in healthcare settings, helping them apply classroom knowledge and develop essential patient care skills. This experience not only prepares students for the CNA exam but also builds their confidence and competence in delivering compassionate care.
