2025-2026 Student Uniforms

Please note that the 6th grade uniforms now differ from the 7th/8th grade uniforms. 7th/8th grade uniforms will be updated in November 2025. Stay tuned!

ALL STUDENTS may now wear any closed-toed shoes they like (flats, sneakers, boots, etc.). Students may NOT wear sandals, slippers, Crocs, slides, etc.

6th Grade Boys & Girls

All 6th grade students are required to wear the following:

  • Red Leadership Academy polo shirt (must have logo; cannot be just any red polo shirt)

  • RC khaki pants (no black pants)

  • Any closed-toed shoes (flats, sneakers, boots, etc.).

    • Students may NOT wear sandals, slippers, Crocs, slides, etc.

NOTE: 6th grade cannot wear the old YMWLA Blue Oxford shirt or black pants.

7th/8th Grade Girls

All 7th & 8th grade girls are required to wear the following:

  • Blue Leadership Academy Oxford

  • RC Plaid Uniform skirt

  • YWLA Plaid tie

  • Knee-high black socks

  • Any closed-toed shoes (flats, sneakers, boots, etc.).

    • Students may NOT wear sandals, slippers, Crocs, slides, etc.

NOTE: 7th/8th grade cannot wear the new, Red YMWLA Polo shirt or khaki pants.

Accessories

Accessories

  • All students must follow the guidelines below when it comes to uniform accessories:

    • Headbands/hats/etc. - headbands are no longer allowed at The Leadership Academy. 7th & 8th grade girls may continue to ONLY wear their YWLA headband, but 6th grade students following the new uniform may NOT wear any style headband or head covering including hats, scarves, head rags, etc. (scarves/religious head coverings are allowed).

    • Earrings - students may only wear small, stud earrings. No hoops or dangly earrings of any kind.

    • Jackets - students may only wear the Leadership Academy jackets sold by RC Uniforms (pictured) while inside the building. Any other jacket may be worn outside the building (raincoats, winter coats, etc.) but must be put away in the student's bookbag before entering the building.

    • Hair - Natural hair colors ONLY. Green, Purple, Orange, Blue, Yellow, etc. hair is permitted.  Again, no headbands, scarves, hats or head rags allowed (unless it is for religious purposes).

P.E. Uniform

6th/7th/8th Grade P.E. Uniforms

All students at the Leadership Academy must purchase the P.E. Uniform from RC Uniforms. Students must have:

  • Red P.E. shirt

  • Red P.E. shorts

  • Sneakers

  • Socks

Lockers are recommended for all P.E. students. Locks for P.E. lockers must be purchase in the front office in order to utilize the lockers. Students without a lock cannot use the lockers. This is to keeps students' items safe.
