General Student Placement Guidelines
Program enrollment is open to all students regardless of literacy level, ESOL or ESE status.
Students who are absent and are withdrawn by the school will lose their seat in the program, unless otherwise stated by the principal.
Parents should be made aware that the program is challenging and students will be learning a second, or maybe even third, language.
Parent must complete registration documents, Dual Language Application, and sign the Dual Language commitment letter.
Students are enrolled in the program automatically from school year to school year (except for years when transferring from Elementary to Middle School or Middle to High School).
Students must re-apply for continuation from the Elementary to the Middle School program and from the Middle School to the High School program.
If no space is available and students meet entry requirements, students may be placed on a wait list.
When filling a vacant seat, students will be admitted in the order they were placed on the wait list.
