Every year, many families with children enrolled in charter schools seek to return to traditional public schools.  We make it easy for you to come home!

Option One: Send a Request for Enrollment Service
Include your student’s name, either their birthdate or student number, and the school in which you would like to place your student. If you are returning to your zoned neighborhood school, your new assignment will be processed immediately. If you are seeking a special assignment to a school other than your zoned neighborhood school and if there is an open seat, your request will be processed immediately. If there is not an open seat, we will contact you to discuss other options.

Option Two: Visit us at the Parent Resource Center
If you prefer to meet with us in person, you can make an appointment to visit us at:

You are also welcome to walk-in without an appointment from  7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday

Between April and the beginning of the new school year, you can cancel your charter school enrollment in FOCUS or you can visit your zoned neighborhood school and they can assist you. If you are currently homeschooling, send us an enrollment services request to cancel your homeschool assignment, and we will follow up with you.

Once you cancel your charter or homeschool assignment, your child’s enrollment will shift to their zoned neighborhood school.  If you would like to pursue enrollment in a different school, follow the school choice process for that school.
