About
In August 2025, the Duval County Public School Board approved a revised mission and vision, key priorities, objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to shape the district’s strategic priorities through 2029. These key priorities serve as the district’s roadmap for academic excellence.
During the Spring of 2024, the Board launched a Strategic Plan Refresh focusing on clear priorities and accountability. During the refresh sessions, the Board reflected on the outcomes and work of the previous strategic plan iteration to determine the best path forward for the district. The refreshed plan continues to place student achievement at the heart of our mission.
