Welcome back Stingray Families!
It is with much excitement and disbelief that the 25/26 school year is here! Being this is the first callout of the new year, there is ALOT of information.
Schedule: Please make sure you jump into your Focus account tonight and check your student’s schedule as there may have been an adjustment over the past few days. Everyone will be going directly to 1st period tomorrow.
Regarding schedule changes: Students who need a schedule correction must submit a Schedule Correction Form by August 15, 2025. The form is available on the Atlantic Coast website.
School Start/Parent Drop-off: 1st period begins promptly at 7:10a, but we open our doors at 6:45a every morning.
As with every year, the car rider line will take some time to get flowing how we would like it to. Please arrive early to avoid the anticipated traffic. Please be patient with us, our team is working diligently to get everyone in, safely and on time. Please do not drop your students off on the street or in the front loop. That is a safety concern.
Bus Transportation: If your student needs a bus, be sure to apply for transportation through your Focus portal.
Attendance: School begins on Monday. If your student is not attending school for the first three days your student will be unenrolled from Atlantic Coast. If you know your student will not be in attendance the first day of school, email our APC, Mrs. Parrott at randazzol@duvalschools.org letting the school know when your student will be attending school. If not email submitted by Wednesday of week 1 of school, we have to withdraw your child from AC.
Contact Sheet: Blue Parent Contact Sheets will be distributed through your students' ELA classes during the first 2 days of school. Students must return the form back as soon as possible. That form will also be used for students to get their new Laptop. If your student has a school laptop from last year, it needs to be returned on Monday.
ID’s and Laptops: All IDs and Laptops will be distributed through your students English Class with the goal of everyone having both by the end of week 2. (Blue form must also be returned)
Student Parking: Students must have a decal to park in the student parking lot. By September 2nd, we will begin towing. Celebration Church has informed us that they will be towing any unauthorized vehicles from their parking lot, so please refrain from parking there.
Juniors and Seniors can pick up their decals from the window of Room 212 during their assigned lunch starting Monday, 8/11/25. They must have a printed receipt showing payment of decal, parking pass application, copy of driver's license, registration and insurance card.
Get involved: Looking to get involved at Atlantic Coast? Come join us Tuesday (August 19th) at 6:15pm for our 1st monthly School Advisory Committee meeting. Parents, Students and community members are welcome to attend. Please refer to the school website under SAC, for more information.
