Hello Stingray Nation!
The make-up session for yearbook photos for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders is this week on Tuesday, November 4th. This session is for students who missed the first picture day or who have purchased their photos and want a retake. If you purchased photos, please be prepared to show your receipt. This is for underclassmen only. Seniors must schedule a session directly with Cady Studios by the January 1st deadline at cady.com/schedule.
Are you looking for some AC gear? The Stingray Athletic Boosters are selling items that range in price from $1 to $15. Gear can be purchased during all home sporting events or during lunch from Ms. Lakatos in room 213.
There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, November 6th, for all juniors interested in competing in the Mister or Miss Atlantic Coast pageant this year. The meeting will be held in the media center directly after school on Thursday.
The next PERT will be offered on Wednesday, November 19th, after school. PERT is important for students who wish to take dual enrollment classes. It is also one avenue for earning senior leave. Students should check One View for qualification information and a link to a registration sign-up sheet. The sign-up will be open until Thursday, November 13th.
Senior bundle members! Your senior gear is almost here! Please listen to the Morning Rays daily for the delivery date to be announced.
Senior warning letters have been sent to students and parents via students’ DCPS email accounts for those who are at risk of not graduating on time. Contributing factors may include low or failing grades, a GPA below 2.0, unfulfilled testing requirements, or incomplete online course recovery.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to log in to Focus to review their student’s current academic standing. Parents, if you did not receive the Warning Letter email, please ensure your email address is updated in OneView under My Contact Info to continue receiving important school communications.
