Students will have Quarter Two Report Cards posted in Focus on Wednesday, January 14th.
This week is Be Safe, Be Seen Awareness Week! Join us in raising awareness of pedestrian and bicycle safety by dressing up for the following theme days.
Monday: Bright & Bold. Wear your brightest neon, reflective, or bold-colored clothing.
Tuesday: Crazy Socks & Shoes. Wear your wildest socks or most unique shoes.
Wednesday: Shine & Sparkle. Wear something shiny, sparkly, or reflective.
Thursday: Twin. Dress alike with a twin!
Friday: Jersey. Wear your favorite team or school jersey.
A valid, visible student parking pass is required for all vehicles on campus. Effective Monday, January 12th, we will begin ticketing and towing vehicles without a pass. This is a safety and security requirement here at Atlantic Coast High School. Parking passes can be purchased in the media center during your lunch period.
Stingrays, tutoring is available for all students after school on both Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm. Students interested in attending are to report to the Media Center at 2:30 pm. Teachers will be available from all core content areas during this time.
FAST Progress Monitoring (PM2) testing will take place this week. 9th and 10th grade ELA students will be taking this assessment on Tuesday, January 13th. Attendance and best effort are important to provide students and teachers with data for instruction! Please remind your student to get a good night of sleep and eat breakfast prior to testing. Students need to make sure to bring their laptop and charger to school.
Senior parents make sure to mark your calendar so that you can attend our second semester senior parent meeting on Wednesday, January 21st, at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Attending this meeting will earn your student an additional ticket to graduation on top of all the valuable information we will be going over.
Seniors you have one last chance to be included in the 2025-2026 yearbook. Cady will be on campus on January 22nd taking senior yearbook photos only. The cost is $10 and can be paid cash directly to Cady on January 22nd, via a QR code provided by Cady, or it can be added to your student debt to be paid later. Spots are limited. See Ms. Lakatos in room 213 to sign up. This session is for the yearbook photo only. Please note that seniors who do not take a yearbook picture will not be pictured in the yearbook. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Ms. Lakatos.
Grad Bash tickets for the Class of 2026 are still available! Go to dcps.schoolcashonline.com to purchase your ticket no later than February 1st. But be warned – this trip will very likely sell out before that date!
Wednesday, January 28th, is our annual senior breakfast. Students who purchased a senior bundle has a ticket to attend. If you are not in a senior bundle and want to attend the breakfast, there are a limited number of tickets available for sale online at dcps.schoolcashonline.com through the end of this week only.
Please join us for the Science National Honor Society Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, January 14th at 6:00 PM in the auditorium, as we recognize and honor our newest members.
