Atlantic Coast High School, in partnership with ACHS PTSA and The Society, is proud to sponsor Project 35 – Stingray Global Connection with the Ghana Wisdom Academy, a global community service initiative. This project supports students in Ghana by helping provide student desks and other essential school needs.

We are inviting all Stingray students and families to participate. Donations of any amount are appreciated, and students can earn community service hours for their contributions to this project.

For our senior families, this project also provides an opportunity for seniors to earn additional graduation tickets:

  • $10 donation = 1 additional graduation ticket

  • $35 donation = 2 additional graduation tickets

  • Two is the maximum number of additional tickets that can be earned through Project 35.

Donations will be accepted through May 15, 2026 and can be made HERE.

Project 35 is more than a fundraiser, it is an opportunity for our students to make a real difference in a global community while demonstrating service, leadership, and compassion.

Thank you for supporting Stingray students and helping us make a positive impact beyond our campus.

PERT Testing Information

Please read all the information below before signing up.

Next Test Date: Wednesday, March 25
Start Time: 2:00 p.m.
Deadline to Sign up: Thursday, March 12

PLEASE NOTE: Only the first 150 students to sign up will be allowed to take the PERT on March 25. On March 13, you will be notified via your student email address if you are testing. If you are not one of the first 150, you will be put on a wait-list and notified if a spot becomes available.

Who Can Take the PERT?

  • PERT is not a graduation requirement. However, it is one of several ways you can qualify for Senior Leave and Dual Enrollment opportunities.

  • You must be a junior or senior.

  • You must have already earned passing scores for reading and math tests required for graduation.

  • If you are a sophomore trying to qualify for dual enrollment, you may take the PERT if you have passed your math test for graduation and have a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.0.

Test Day Information:

  • Notification:

    • On the Friday before test day, you will receive an email to your student email account confirming your test registration.

    • On test day, you will receive a testing notification during your 1A or 4B class giving you your test location.

  • Be on Time: Testing begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. Late arrivals will not be admitted.

  • Testing Duration: You have the entire afternoon to complete any part of the test, but you must finish by 5:00 p.m.

  • Transportation: Ensure you have reliable transportation arranged.

  • What to Bring: Bring a fully charged, school-issued laptop and a pencil. You will receive scratch paper from the test proctor.

  • Cell Phones: All cell phones must be turned off and stored away during testing. Any use of a cell phone will result in your test being invalidated, and you will not be eligible to retake the PERT this school year.

  • No Hoodies: For test security, you are not permitted to wear a hoodie during testing. Make sure you are in dress code under your hoodie on Test Day.

  • No Show Fee: If you sign up to take PERT, you must show up. Failure to email Ms. Hozey by Tuesday, March 24, at 10 a.m. to cancel your PERT Registration will result in your student account being charged $20.
