It’s Time for the Annual Abess Park Book Character Parade!!!
Who: All students, grades PreK-5 may participate
What: Come dressed as your favorite book character from an appropriate book to celebrate literacy! Don’t have a costume? Don’t worry! You can make a sign advertising your book and still participate!
When: Friday, October 25th 9:30-10:15am
Where: Go straight to your classroom with your book character costume on. You can bring your book with you if you choose.
Rules: No masks or scary costumes are allowed, and all costumes must be based on a book character. Please bring the book too! Families are welcome to attend… all visitors must sign in at the Front Office and receive a visitor’s badge. Visitors may then proceed to the Bus Loop to attend the parade before exiting for the day.
