Baldwin Middle School volleyball tryout will be August 24 - August 26, 2026, from 2:30 - 4:40 pm. Students interested must attend all three days of tryouts. Parents, please complete your profile on Aktivate and remember that you must have an updated sports physical to attend tryouts.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - The countdown is on — just ONE month until the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 10. Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!
REGISTER FOR A BUS TODAY - Bus registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. All students who plan to ride a school bus next year must be registered in advance, including students enrolled in self-contained ESE programs. RECOGNIZING A CREATIVE, ENGAGING LESSON – This Team Duval Shoutout recognizes a dynamic teaching moment by Jade Menendez, an ELA teacher at Baldwin Middle-Senior High School! Menendez recently transformed her classroom with blacklights, creating a fun atmosphere in which students used neon highlighters to annotate a reading assignment and search for examples of ethos, pathos, and logos. Colleague Heather Dixon shares, “With some black lights and neon highlighters, Ms. Menedez made her lesson something the students could not put down! They were so excited to show me how cool their ELA teacher is, and how fun the lesson was.” Way to go!
