Hello Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers:

Well, we are off to good start with our students in our classrooms! Today, our car line was MUCH better. We thank you for your patience as logistics are still being figured out. We aim to get better everyday! However, there are ways you can help:

*Make sure you have downloaded the DCPS app and the PikMyKid app. These are the only two apps our district uses for parents. In the DCPS app, you can put money in your child's lunch account, check their grades on FOCUS (grade portal), check out the school calendar, contact staff and learn what's for lunch. The only other app you need is PikMyKid. You will find both of these apps in your phone's Apple or Android app stores. PikMyKid is critical because it informs us how you want your child dismissed. You can do so until 2:15 pm daily. This gives teachers time to figure out where to send your student in our building for dismissal. Doing this, will save you time, especially out in the hot sun. I have uploaded a picture to assist with getting the DCPS app.

*To contact the teacher, in the DCPS app, you just tap on "Messages" button to send a private message to the teacher. To see the teacher's individual pages, just click on "Rooms". We have gone in and launched all teacher pages for you to see their feeds.

*Every Monday, I will send out an information blast on the app in our Live Feed, email and phone. You can also see all of our posts on our website at www.duvalschools.org/cle. Just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the front page of our website. You can also see these blurbs on our Facebook and Instagram social media pages.
