Happy Monday! We hope your Monday was MAGNIFICENT! September starts tomorrow and we have a LOT going on! Our September Newsletter will be sent tomorrow around noon. Please be on the lookout as it is FULL of great information for you! Here are a few items of interest for you:
*Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 10th. VPK-2nd Grade will be at 5:00 pm and 3rd-5th Grades will be from 6:30-7:30 pm. The media center will be open during this entire time! You can preview the books in the fair, by clicking on the link in the September newsletter before you come. At Open House, you will also be able to purchase your Chimney Lakes school t-shirt for the 26-27 school year, visit Frozen Scoops for a sweet treat and see what the day of a student is like. It's definitely changed since I was in school!
*PTA Fundraiser begins this Friday, September 4th! Get ready—our Charleston Wrap fundraiser is kicking off in just a few days! 🗓️From high-quality wrapping paper and kitchen gadgets to delicious treats, this year’s catalog has something for everyone. Keep a close eye on your student's folder and your inbox for registration and shopping details coming your way. Every purchase directly benefits our students and school community. Thank you for your amazing support!
*Have you joined PTA? I have and I'm asking you to help US reach our goal of increasing PTA memberships by at least 10%! All it takes is $10 to help advocate for children, your children! *Don't forget to join us for our September School Advisory Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 15th @ 4:30 pm. We meet in the Media Center and would love for you to join us. Every month we review our progress for our school improvement goals, get feedback from the community as well as discuss what's coming up for our students.
Finally, don't forget to mark your calendars for Monday, September 7th. There is no school for students. It's the Labor Day holiday!
