Hello Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers!
I hope your week is off to a great start! Thank you for those who turned out for our Open House Night last Thursday. It was a great night (minus the fire alarm going off) and I hope you gained an idea what your student is going to do with us this school year.
This year, we have changed up our family night events. Our first family night will focus on reading! It's the most important skill to be able to do in order to be successful in school and life after school. Each student's family will build their own toolbox of strategies for supporting their young readers. It will be loads of fun and very informative too!
CALLING ALL PRESENTERS! We are looking to have a Career Fair coming up in November. However, we need presenters. If you work in a job anywhere from an accountant to a fire fighter or a librarian or a secretary, we need your time to present to our students. Check out the flyer this week and sign up today with Ms. Durham, our school counselor!
