Hello Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers:

Welcome back to another week at Chimney Lakes!

This week, our spotlight event is our Reading Night this Thursday, September 24th @ 6 pm. During this event, parents will be able to walk away with a reading toolkit for home. We will have sessions with make and take for each area of reading. You definitely don't want to miss this!

BIZI Pay Day is THIS FRIDAY! Don't forget to remind your student to spend their BIZI Bucks in the BIZI portal in OneView (under "Blended Learning") by Tuesday. BIZI items will be distributed on Friday. You can help them at home with logging into the student's OneView link.

Fall Picture Day is right around the corner. It's actually next Tuesday, September 29th. The flyers started going home on Friday so make sure you prepay for your pictures. You can also go online to www.leonards.com and enter the access code: C808717.

Have a fascinating career or job? Come us join to share what you do for a living at our Career Fair. We are tentatively scheduled for November 19th. However, we need some connections to make sure we have enough jobs for all classes to learn about. Contact our school counselor, Ms. Durham for more information at durhamt1@duvalschools.org.

From Our PTA President Grace Ross: We would love to take a moment to thank all of our Chimney Lakes families for their continued support of the PTA and our Charleston Wrap fundraiser. We truly appreciate everyone who has registered, shared the fundraiser, and helped spread the word.

Finally, please remember for the car line to:

*Have your code number ready to go

*Exit to the right lane once you have your student.

*Do a quick exit and entrance. Be ready with all the things they need for the day.

*Be kind and merge (left, right, left, right). We want all of our drivers and riders to be safe.
