Happy Monday Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers:

Welcome to another week at Chimney Lakes! This week is Fire Safety Week! We've attached some information for you to ensure you're practicing fire safety at home as well.

*From our Chimney Lakes PTA:  Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our Charleston Wrap fundraiser! We deeply appreciate the generous support from our wonderful community. We are so incredibly grateful for every family who participated, shared our fundraiser, made a purchase, or simply helped spread the word.  Every bit of your support makes a difference for our students and our school. We are so proud of our Cheetah community. 

*Kindness Kar-Nival is right around the corner! Please see the flyer attached for donations. This community wide event is a great outreach to the Argyle area, but also a safe place for our CLE students to visit.

*Next Monday (October 12th) and Tuesday (October 13th) there will be no school for students. Monday is a Teacher Planning Day to input grades for report cards and Tuesday is a Professional Development Day for teachers and staff. Students will return on Wednesday, October 14th.; Hope you all enjoy the long weekend.

Please be on the look-out for a survey called "Data Triangle Survey". This survey is done every October and it gives school administrators an idea of what might need to change, implemented or to provide suggestions we haven't even thought about. It only takes a few minutes to do, but is so helpful to us. Thank you!! click here

Finally, if you purchased a school shirt for this year, it will be sent home early this week. Please be on the lookout.
