Assistant Principal's Message

Harmony Darr

Harmony Darr

Assistant Principal

Greetings CLE families!!

It is with great pleasure that I begin my 3rd year at Chimney Lakes Elementary school. As a Duval native and DCPS graduate, I am proud and honored to continue the work of instructional excellence at Chimney Lakes. Although, I have spent most of my educational career teaching secondary English, I have developed a love for all things elementary, especially the students!

As an Assistant Principal, I pride myself in school safety and creating a positive learning environment for all students. I strive to build ongoing relationships with all stakeholders and believe that it truly does take a village. I am beyond excited about continuing my work at Chimney Lakes Elementary school in partnership with Ms. Lee, Ms. Willis and the entire Chimney Lakes family.

Feel free to reach out anytime. I am here for you and your student!

Sincerely,
Harmony Darr

Colette Piper

Assistant Principal

Hello Chimney Lakes Elementary Families,

I’m pleased to introduce myself as your new assistant principal. I’ve served as the school’s Interventionist for the past three years and have taught in Duval County for 22 years. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with many families to support student growth. Chimney Lakes has always felt like home, and I’m grateful for the chance to serve our community in this new role.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University, a master’s degree from Concordia University, and an Educational Leadership certificate from Concordia University. As assistant principal, I am committed to making sure every student feels safe, supported, and challenged to reach their fullest potential. I look forward to building strong relationships, celebrating successes, and working together to make this school year exceptional.

Please feel free to reach out anytime—I’m here for you and your student!

Sincerely,

Colette Piper
