The mission of Douglas Anderson’s school counseling program is to support all students through a comprehensive and developmental approach by addressing the academic, career, and personal/social skills necessary to achieve quality learning and lifelong success. This is accomplished through the counselors’ delivery of school counseling and counseling activities as well as through a collaborative effort between the home, school, and community to further Douglas Anderson as the leading public arts high school in the nation.

This informational session is designed for students and their supporters to learn about grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs. Get tips on applying for aid and maximizing your opportunities to fund your education after high school.

Monday, December 8, 2025, at 6 PM. This meeting will be held virtually via Teams. Please register using their personal email and join the session through their DCPS Teams account for the best experience. However, they can also enter directly using the meeting link that will be emailed and texted to them.
