MINOR INFRACTIONS - LEVEL I

Disciplinary Actions/Interventions

Special Note- Infractions committed within the same Level in the Code of Student Conduct in school, at schoolsponsored events and on the school bus will be considered willful disobedience and/or open defiance of authority. As a result, the student infraction may be escalated to the next occurrence on the Disciplinary Actions/Interventions Matrix.

The following Level 1 codes are grouped for occurrence purposes:

1.01-1.03-1.05
1.04-1.08

Example: A student committing a 1.01 infraction followed by another 1.01, 1.03 and/or a 1.05 infraction will move to the next occurrence on the Disciplinary Actions/Interventions Matrix.

MINOR INFRACTIONS - LEVEL I

1.01 (ZZZ) Disruption in Class

1.02 (ZZZ) Illegal Organization

1.03 (ZZZ) Disorder Outside of Class

1.04 (ZZZ) Tardiness

1.05 (ZZZ) Use of Abusive, Profane, or Obscene Language or Gestures

1.06 (ZZZ) Nonconformity to the General Code of Appearance

1.07 (ZZZ) Inappropriate Public Display of Affection

1.08 (ZZZ) Unauthorized Absence from Class or School Day activity but remaining on campus (Skipping)

1.09 (ZZZ) Unauthorized Use of Wireless Communication Devices or Cell Phone

1.10 (ZZZ) Failure to Follow Instructions on the School Bus

1.11 (ZZZ) Unauthorized use of appropriate restroom or changing facility (Locker room/dressing room) –
