Dinsmore is hiring for a school monitor to assist and support students during all lunch periods. The school monitor hours would be from 10:15-1:15. If you are interested in this position, please email Ms. Peterson at tanners@duvalschools.org or contact us at 904-924-3126.


ATTENTION ALL 3rd- 5th grade parents! If you have a daughter that is interested in participating in this season of Girl on the Run, registration opens TOMORROW, August 20, 2024. We can only take 20 girls for the season and this is on a first come first serve basis. The program will be held at Dinsmore on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15pm-4:30pm.
It is going to be a fun packed season this year filled with new curriculum and additional new coaches! At the end of the season a 5K celebration will be held for all the girls' hard work and the 20th year Anniversary for GOTR Northeast Florida!!

We are making progress at dismissal! This picture was taken at 3:30pm today. Very few cars in the car line HOWEVER we still had 25 students waiting inside. The goal is, by Friday, to have every car rider picked up by 3:15pm. Please make sure you are in the line by 3pm in order to pick your student up on time.
Great job "walker" parents with pikmykid and arriving by 2:45. Tomorrow we will try to ensure all walkers come out with their grade level group.

Parents, in order to have a Pikmykid account you must have a LINKED Parent Focus Account. The following website will give you information on how to create and link your student(s).

The way the system works is as follows: Only the parents tied to the FOCUS and DCPS Parent Accounts for students have access to make pick up mode changes on behalf of a student. They update their DCPS account with their cell phone number, wait for the nightly sync and the next day, they can download the Pikmykid Parent App and see their student and then make changes to pick up as needed and utilize for pick up.
However, if a parent delegates the babysitter to pick up on Tuesdays, the babysitter can register with their own account on the Pikmykid Parent App (not needing to be linked in focus) and on the days they are delegated to pick up, will be able to see the student in their app and announce their arrival on campus like a parent. However, their account is entirely separate, and they only see the student on the days they are scheduled to pick up. Outside of that day or days they are scheduled for, when they open the app, they will not see any student information.
When the system updates nightly, we have found that any dismissal changes the office staff made to help parents with unlinked accounts, have reverted back to whatever the default dismissal mode was. The system is not recognizing changes that the office makes as permanent changes (This only pertains to accounts with no linked parent account). Therefore, if you do not have a linked account, you must create a parent focus account and link your student as soon as possible. For parents trying to connect to Pikmykid but need a code, please call the school so we can add your email as a user. Once your email has been added, the system will send you a code to your email


Save the date! Orientation is scheduled to take place on on August 9th at the designated times. This is a chance to meet our remarkable teachers, drop off school supplies, and receive important information for a smooth start to the new academic year. We also extend an invitation to join our PTA and become an active member of our school community. Grade level supply lists are pinned at the top of our Facebook page and are also located on our school website. It’s going to be an awesome and fun year at CAMP DINSMORE!
