Tomorrow is our final day of a wonderful year of Reaching for the STARS and Blasting into Brilliance!
We are excited to host a “Clap Out” Senior Walk at 9:00 AM for our 2026 seniors who are Fishweir alumni, our 5th grade students, and to celebrate our retiree, Mrs. Evans.
This is also a friendly reminder that dismissal will be at 12:00 PM tomorrow, and there will be no Extended Day on Thursday, May 28.

We are excited to celebrate our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students and their accomplishments! Please note the scheduled dates and times for your child’s ceremony and plan to arrive a few minutes early. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Hey there Fishweir Families! We are excited to celebrate our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students’ hard work and dedication on the statewide F.A.S.T. assessment! This special day is all about recognizing their effort and success.
To help your child participate comfortably, please send: A blanket or oversized towel for seating.
Students will enjoy lunch outdoors in the courtyard along with fun celebratory activities. Vegan options will be available.
We also want to send a gentle reminder for all EOY Award celebrations. We will kick off our EOY Awards with KG and 1st grade on Friday May 22, 2026.

We know our students are going to do an amazing job! Please help them get off to a great start by arriving before 8:25 a.m..
5th grade parents, here are a few friendly reminders:
Electronic Devices Policy: No electronics are allowed in the testing environment—this includes phones, smart watches, smart glasses, and calculators.
Students will be required to sign a Testing Rules Acknowledgment.
Important: Under no circumstances can students complete testing if they leave campus early.

As many of you are aware, Mrs. Evans is moving into a new chapter of life at the end of this school year. Our Social Committee has been instrumental in planning several events celebrating her.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate her dedication through education and her successful instructional career on May 28th. We want students, colleagues, current and former to honor her during a formal ceremony in the auditorium at 10. A reception will follow.
If you would like to say some well wishes and kind words, please reach out to Mrs. Ticer, Dr. Fountain, Ms. Poe, Ms. Wintz, Ms. Dewese or Mrs. Demps as a program is being prepared.

Greetings, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Families!! If you have not previously sent in a letter for your student, we invite you to write a short, encouraging letter to your child to help motivate them during the F.A.S.T. Math State Test. Your words of love and support will mean so much as they begin each day of testing.
Please place the letter in an envelope and send it to school with your child by no later than the morning of May 13th. Teachers will save the letters and give them to students to read each morning of testing. Thank you for partnering with us to encourage and support our students as they do their very best!

Hey there, Fishweir! We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! Kudos to our incredibly talented students for their outstanding performances in our Drama, Dance, and Technical Theatre Showcase, The Golden Goose. We are extremely proud of their creativity and hard work! Celebrations are in order on another successful showcase by the dynamic Futo duo!
