As we wrap up the first year of a wonderful new addition at Holiday Hill, we would like to give a special shout out to the creator and leader of our Dolphin Tales Reading Club, Brandy Hoffman.
Thank you, Brandy, for developing this passion project and bringing stories to life for so many of our K–2 students this school year. Your efforts truly paid off.
From September 22 to May 1, 91 students participated, representing 58% of our K–2 Dolphins. Over 37 meetings, students enjoyed 65 books and 740 minutes of reading time, that is over 12 hours spent building a love of reading.
We love when HHE volunteers see a need or opportunity and step in to make our school even better.
And we can’t forget our littlest volunteer, the big boss baby himself, Booker, who tagged along with mom each week at club. Thank you, Booker!
