CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Nine incredible 5th grade students from J. Allen Axson Elementary have done something AMAZING—the Axson Robotics Team has officially earned a spot at the State Invitational in St. Petersburg, FL on February 20–21, 2026! 🎉👏
This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to our students’ creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Now, we need the community to rally behind them as we work to get these bright minds to state! 💙

We kindly ask each Axson family to donate one bag of red mulch to support this effort. Mulch may be dropped off on the main office porch, placed on the pallet near the door, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
