📢 Important Update from Duval County Public Schools

At Lakeshore Middle School, we are committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student, family member, employee, and community partner is valued and respected.

Duval County Public Schools has updated its Continuous Notice of Non-Discrimination to reaffirm our commitment to providing equal access to educational programs, activities, and employment opportunities for all individuals.

We encourage our school community to review the updated notice and remain informed about the protections and resources available to students, families, and employees.

Together, we continue to build a culture grounded in respect, equity, integrity, and opportunity for all.

🏈 Lake Shore Warriors Football – Summer Workouts for the 2026-2027 School Year 🏈

Attention Lake Shore students, parents, and community members!

The journey toward a successful 2026-2027 football season begins this summer. Our Lake Shore Warriors coaching staff is excited to welcome all current and future student-athletes to our Summer Football Workout Program.

These workouts are designed to help players build strength, improve conditioning, develop football skills, and strengthen team chemistry before the start of the school year. More importantly, they reinforce the values that define our program—Discipline, Academics, and Football.

We encourage every student interested in being part of the Warriors football family to attend consistently and arrive ready to work. Summer participation provides a tremendous opportunity for athletes to prepare physically and mentally while building relationships with teammates and coaches.

📅 Workout Dates: See calendar for scheduled sessions
🕔 Time: 5:15 PM – 6:45 PM
📍 Location: Lake Shore Middle School
👕 What to Bring: T-shirt, shorts, and cleats

Parents, thank you for your continued support of our student-athletes. Your encouragement and commitment play a vital role in helping our young men grow both on and off the field.

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!
