MAJ Rocketship: Blasting Off to Reach New Goals!

Greetings MAJ Families!

This will be a very busy week as we celebrate Literacy!!  Students are asked to wear red, white and blue on Thursday (1/29).  We also have our Winter scholastic book fair going on through the week.  Book fair flyers were sent home last week.

Our carnival themed Family Literacy Night will take place at 6:00 PM on Thursday, the 29th! The Book Fair will be open during Literacy Night as well.  This will be a fun and informative evening for the whole family and we hope to see everyone there!

Friday, the 30th is our vocabulary parade.  Students are invited to dress up as a vocabulary word.  The parade will take place at 8:50 AM.  Family members wanting to come see the parade are invited to view along the East side of the building (by the cafeteria). In the event of bad weather, parents will be invited to view from inside the cafeteria.

The patrol-sponsored Mom/Son dance will take place this Saturday, January 31st.  The deadline to purchase tickets is this Tuesday, January 27th.

Upcoming dates to note:

February 7 – Patrol Sponsored Dad/Daughter Dance

February 9 – School Advisory Council and Mid-Year Stakeholders Meetings

February 16 – No school (President’s Day)

As always, we thank you for partnering with us in your child’s education as we are Blasting Off to Reach New Goals!!!  We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!
