Parents, Flu shot forms went home last week. It is scheduled for 9/22. Please return all forms no later than 9/17 so that the health department brings enough flu shots for the students.

Greetings North Shore Chargers, I sent a call out last night and again this morning. Parents, per the district's policy, you MUST show ID and the purpose of your visit prior to coming into the building. Please be patient with us as we work through this process.

Parents, Per the district's policy, you MUST show an ID before we can buzz you in to the school. Please be prepared to show an ID in order to receive service. Regardless if we know who you are, and you come often, you MUST show an ID!!!

Parents, This is a reminder.... when your students are listed as a "walker", we release walkers to walk. We do NOT hold walkers back until you get here. You have to be here at dismissal, beginning at 2:50pm. If you are in a car and you drive up to get your "walker" student, your student is NOT a walker; however, we still release the walkers to walk. ONLY "car riders" are held back. In the event of inclement weather, walkers will be released first. Please be here promptly at 2:50pm to get your walker.

GM parents, This is a reminder that morning drop off is at 8:00am. There is NO adult supervision before this time. PLEASE do not drop students off before 8:00am. This is also a reminder that dismissal begins at 2:50pm. and ends at 3:10pm. PLEASE be on time picking up your student from school. I am asking that you follow the school rules for the safety of your student. Thank you and have a Charger day!!!!

Good morning North Shore families,
This is Principal Hardaway. I apologize for interrupting your morning, but I wanted to let you know about a safety precaution we took earlier today. Our school went into a lockout after an unidentified individual attempted to enter the building. Per our safety protocols, all doors were secured, the person was unable to enter, and both staff and law enforcement responded immediately. The individual was taken into police custody. At no time were students or staff in danger, and classes resumed once the lockout was lifted. I am deeply grateful to our staff and law enforcement for their swift actions to keep everyone safe. Please know we will always take necessary precautions to protect our students and staff. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Parents that are parking and walking up to get their students from the walker section, PLEASE do not park on the street. You will need to park at Harvey's and walk over.... it is unfair to the 300 walker students that I are dismissing "the actual walkers" and I am afraid that you are going to hit a student walking. Dismissal begins at 2:50pm. Please be on time picking up your student.

Tomorrow marks the first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year. If you did not attend orientation or pick up your student's information this past week, you will need to park and report to the cafeteria. Students CANNOT be dropped off without having a colored card attached to their backpack!!! I repeat, STUDENTS CANNOT BE DROPPED OFF IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE COLORED GRADE LEVEL CARD ATTACHED TO THEIR BACKPACK.

If you were unable to make orientation, please stop by the school TODAY between the hours of 8:00am-3:00pm to receive your Pikmykid car tag and the colored card that identifies their teacher, name and room number. We have 700+/- student. Monday will be extremely busy and this will help with the flow of morning and afternoon traffic. If your student does not have this colored card, you will have to stand in line to receive it on the first day of school. Thank you and have a Charger day!!
