Hello NVE Families! It that time of year when we need your feedback on developing the Parent Family Engagement Plan for the 2026-2027 School Year. Your feedback is valuable in helping make decisions about the events we hold for you, the parents and your students.
There are several ways for you to participate. You can join us on Thursday, March 12 at 4:30 in room 12 or on Zoom, use the QR code or link https://forms.office.com/r/AbvvTYD9fZ to complete the survey, or request a paper copy from the front office.
You are a valuable part of our school community and we want your input.

Please join us for a fun-filled evening celebrating art, music, and health and fitness! Students and families will have the opportunity to try out a variety of musical instruments, enjoy a special performance by our 4th and 5th grade students, and participate in creative art activities such as guided drawing, rock painting, and origami.
We’ll also have scarf juggling and yoga mats available for stretching and movement. To top it all off, enjoy smoothies and other healthy snacks throughout the evening. We look forward to seeing you there!
February 19 - 6 pm

Join us for a great night of family fun and entertainment. $5.00 from every ticket sale will come back to the school. Support our school and catch a great hockey game! Even better, bring out your best Harry Potter for theme night.

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!

We are already in the month of February! Check out the calendar and newsletter for this month's events.

As a first-year school counselor, she has already made a meaningful impact on the students and families here at Normandy. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to supporting our students do not go unnoticed.
This calendar includes suggested sweet treats for the week; however, please feel free to be creative and share your own gestures of love and appreciation as we come together to celebrate and thank Mrs. Ivester for all that she does.

Please join us for our February SAC Mid-Year Stakeholders Meeting. Here about the progress we are making as a school and the steps we are taking to make NVE a "B" school.
If you can't make it in person, join us on Zoom.
