Each year, our hallways transform into a vibrant celebration of creativity during our School-Wide Art Gallery! While student artwork brightens our building all year long, spring brings a special opportunity to showcase the incredible talents of every young artist on campus. Stunning works created by our Advanced Visual Art students are displayed on impressive 10-foot-tall gallery panels throughout the main halls, creating a true museum-like experience.
As you explore the gallery, you'll discover a unique piece of artwork from every student in the school, making each hallway a colorful journey through imagination, expression, and creativity. A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding Visual Arts teacher, Mrs. McCrimon, and her dedicated parent volunteers for bringing this beautiful gallery to life for our school community to enjoy!

This year, Hattie earned 2nd place in the state in the Florida Retired Teachers' Essay Contest, while Jhakarri received an Honorable Mention award. Students were asked to write about an influential adult in their lives, and their essays were submitted through one of our amazing 5th grade ELA teachers, Mrs. Tucker.
We are incredibly proud of both students and their remarkable accomplishments. As they prepare to head off to middle school, we wish them all the best and know they will continue to shine and make us proud!

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!
