Under the direction of Mrs. Bolden, theatre instruction at Pine Forest offers a dynamic and enriching experience for all grade levels. Students build foundational skills in acting, improvisation, vocal production, and script writing, while also learning the importance of proper audience etiquette, theater history, and techniques for developing self-confidence. In addition, they gain hands-on experience with modern lighting and sound equipment, giving them a well-rounded introduction to the technical side of stage production. Every student participates in a theatrical experience each year—ranging from engaging reader’s theatre performances to full-scale middle-school level musicals—making the performing arts an exciting and essential part of the Pine Forest experience.
