March is here, and we are excited for a wonderful month ahead! Please review the newsletter as it includes important dates, special activities, and upcoming events. We are in the final stretch of Quarter 3! This is an important time for our students to stay focused, remain consistent in attendance, and adhere to behavior expectations.

Moving to middle school is an exciting milestone, and we are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Middle School Transition Night. This event is designed to help 5th grade students and families feel informed, confident, and prepared for the transition.

Year Book's are for sale! Please review the attached flyer.

On Thursday, February 12, our students will be showcasing a hero they have learned about in class as part of our Black History Month activities.
We will also be holding our SAC Meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Media Center.
We hope to see you on Thursday!

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!

Attached are important dates for February. Also, we have noticed a large number of students arriving late to school recently. On-time arrival is essential for a smooth start to the school day and helps ensure students do not miss important instruction or activities.
Let's celebrate our History all month!

Please join us on February 12th for SAC at 8:30am and Our Black History Museum.

We’re excited to celebrate the 100th Day of School with our students!
On this special day, students are invited to participate in a fun school-wide theme:
“100 Days Smarter—Dress Like You’re 100!”
Students may come dressed as if they are 100 years old—think gray hair, glasses, suspenders, cozy sweaters, or other creative (and school-appropriate) ideas. Participation is optional, but we encourage everyone to join the fun as we celebrate 100 days of learning and growth.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to a memorable day!

Report Cards go home today. Please review your child's grades and schedule a parent-teacher conference if needed!

Please join us on Thursday at 5:00 for our SAC Meeting, and immediately following our Math night at 5:30 with games and data to support your children.
