Dear Sandalwood High School Parents and Students,
Welcome back to the final quarter of the school year! I hope you all had a restful break and are ready to finish the year strong. This is a crucial time for all of our students, and I encourage each of you to stay focused, committed, and engaged as we approach the finish line.
Seniors, the countdown is on! You have less than 45 school days left before you walk across that stage and close this chapter of your high school journey. This is an exciting time, and I urge you to stay the course, remain diligent, and make the most of these last few weeks. Graduation will be here before you know it!
Juniors, your time is coming! In roughly the same amount of time, you will officially step into the role of Seniors, ready to lead Sandalwood High School into a new year. Now is the time to establish great habits and set the tone for your final year. Stay on top of your responsibilities and finish this quarter with excellence.
A friendly but firm reminder—being on time is non-negotiable. Students arriving after 7:30 A.M. will not be allowed to interrupt instructional time. Sandalwood is on a mission for greatness. We need everyone to do their part by making it school on time. I personally pledge to wake up 15 minutes earlier to make sure no matter the traffic, I can make it to school on time to begin our morning search routine. I need all students to do the same. This policy is in place to ensure we are preparing all students with fidelity for their state assessments and EOCs. Every minute of class time matters, and we need everyone to do their part in maintaining a focused learning environment.
Let’s make this final quarter our best one yet! Stay focused, stay prepared, and let’s finish strong. Go Saints!
Dr. Saryn L. Hatcher, Principal
