Today at San Jose Elementary, our hallways were filled with Panda Pride and joy as our K–2 students participated in a Growth Parade, cheered on by our 3rd–5th grade students! 🎉
This moment was more than just a parade. It was about building confidence, creating belonging, and reminding our youngest learners that they are capable and supported as they take on their PM3 assessments.
💡 Why Motivation Matters
When students feel encouraged and supported, they:
Build confidence in their abilities
Stay focused and calm during testing
Perform closer to their true potential
At San Jose Elementary, we believe that how students feel matters just as much as what they know.
🏡 How Families Can Help at Home
As we continue testing this week, your support makes a BIG difference! Here are a few simple ways to set your child up for success:
😴 Get a good night’s sleep: A well-rested brain helps with focus, memory, and stamina.
🍳 Eat a healthy breakfast: Fueling up gives students the energy they need to stay engaged.
🤗 Give a “Best Wishes” hug: A quick hug and positive words like “You’ve got this!” go a long way in boosting confidence.
💬 Keep it positive: Remind your child that this is their chance to show what they know—no pressure, just pride!
🌟 We Believe in Our Pandas!
Our students have worked hard all year, and now it’s their time to shine bright and Achieve the Green!
