Spring Break is from Saturday, 3/14 through Monday, 3/23, and students return to school on Tuesday, 3/24. While we hope our Panda families enjoy a restful and fun break, we encourage you to keep reading part of your daily routine — less screen time, more story time!
Just 15–20 minutes of reading each day helps prevent learning loss and keeps skills strong. Whether it’s books, magazines, graphic novels, or stories about topics your child loves, consistency is key. Read together, talk about the story, and make it part of your daily rhythm.

Students who complete the Math and Reading Challenge during Spring Break will earn a special panda badge when they return to school! 🏅
✅ Students should complete the activities on their challenge sheet.
✍️ Parents, please sign the paper once your child has finished the challenge.
📅 Students should bring the signed sheet back after Spring Break to receive their badge.

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!
Friday was an incredible day for our students! Please ask your child about a career they learned about yesterday. It was an awesome experience for all.
Please ensure your child is present every day next week, as it is FTE week and the state closely monitors attendance during this time. Please make sure your child arrives by 8:30am and wears a jacket. We appreciate your continued support. Go Pandas!

We’re celebrating Career Day this Friday! Students will participate in live demonstrations and classroom presentations from community partners representing a variety of careers. We’re also excited to welcome a special visit from the JSO Police Helicopter and K-9 Unit! 🚁🐕
Please do not be alarmed if you notice police officers on campus — they are here as part of Career Day to share about their careers with students, including a visit from K-9 Penny with our school police. It’s going to be a fun and engaging learning experience for our students!
We encourage you to ask your child:
👉 “What career interested you most today, and why?”
