3rd-5th Grade Families State and District Testing is Approaching! Just a reminder that students are not permitted to leave once they begin testing. If students do leave then they must submit their test whether they are finished or not. Late students will not be permitted to test. Please ensure students get a good nights sleep and arrive on time to test.

SME Purple Up Day! Teachers, Staff and Students showed support of our Military Students and Families by wearing their purple. The students of Military Families shared time during their resource with family members and other Military students engaging in many fun activities and craft projects. Each student received a special goody bag and Purple Bear, each item were symbols of support they receive throughout the school year. This was a GREAT day for our Military Students and their Families!

"Dudes Do Read" at SME was a GREAT success! Thank you to all the Dads,Stepdad Grandfathers, and Uncles that came out and shared their love for reading. The students really enjoyed have their special guests.

100 Small pictures were hidden all around the school of each Principal Boyd and AP Sandin for students and teachers to seek.
Classes had to chose either Principal or Assistant Principal to search for. The class at the end of the day with the most of Principal Boyd / Assistant Principal Sandin will win 3 Lion Bucks for each student in the class!
