WOW. Our students showed UP all last week and so has our community in our fundraiser! From crazy socks to laps around the track, we truly celebrated in the best way possible. The energy, smiles, and school spirit have been AMAZING!

Right now we are at $6,056 raised toward our $10,000 goal! 🎉

But here’s the big opportunity…

💛 Team Sabal is spreading kindness across our community! 💛 Our Sabal Palm students have been hard at work writing positive affirmations and kind messages that will be shared throughout the day on coffee sleeves at our local Starbucks. 🎨🦩 Tomorrow = COLOR DAY + PAINTBALL WITH THE PTA! 🦩🎨
Have your student wear their favorite color to school… because they’ll be helping create something EPIC!
The PTA will be outside with a giant canvas and students will get to “paintball” it with sponges in their favorite colors. This masterpiece will hang in the cafeteria for years to come as a reminder of the fun we have and the improvements we’re working so hard to make for our school.
👕 Pro tip: Wear something you love the color of… but not your most favorite item. A tiny splash of paint is possible!

In honor of Counselor Appreciation Week, we are so fortunate to have two FLAMAZING counselors who support our students, families, and staff in powerful and meaningful ways. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to the whole child make a lasting impact at Sabal Palm.

Ms. Siegel is often the first person students seek out when they need help sorting through emotions, peer conflicts, or tough moments during the school day. She works directly with students in small groups and individual check ins, helping them develop self regulation, communication skills, and confidence in navigating challenges.
She collaborates closely with teachers and administration to support student behavior, attendance, and social emotional growth, always bringing a thoughtful and solution focused approach. Ms. Siegel’s calm presence and intentional guidance help create a school culture where students feel supported and ready to learn.
Ms. Siegel is truly FLAMAZING, and we are so fortunate to have her guiding our Flamingo Family.

Ms. Greene works tirelessly behind the scenes to support our students and families beyond the classroom. She connects families with community resources, supports students facing challenges outside of school, and helps remove barriers that can impact attendance, focus, and overall well being.
From coordinating services to checking in on families and students during critical moments, Ms. Greene ensures our school community feels supported, valued, and cared for. Her advocacy, responsiveness, and dedication to meeting the needs of the whole child make a powerful impact at Sabal Palm.
Ms. Greene is absolutely FLAMAZING, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our Flamingo Family 💙🦩
