A special shout-out to all of the wonderful fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, big brothers & male role models who attended yesterday's "Donuts With Dad" event at Spring Park Elementary! It's no secret that there is a strong connection between family involvement and student success, and seeing all of your smiling faces as you brought your Spring Park scholars to school this morning was wonderful! Please stay tuned to our school's Facebook, Instagram, website & Rooms (through the new Duval Schools app) for more information on upcoming school events! 🍩👨👧👦📸🙂

Good Morning Spring Park Parents,
As we strive to ensure the safety of all students and smooth operation during arrival and dismissal times, we kindly request your assistance with some important matters in our school parking lot. Your cooperation will help us create a safer environment for everyone.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
1. Supervision of Students: Please ensure that your child is supervised at all times while in the parking lot. It's important to keep an eye on them to prevent accidents and ensure they are following safety rules.
2. Avoiding Traffic: Students should not walk into the path of moving vehicles. We ask that you help reinforce this by guiding your child to stay on sidewalks and avoid crossing in front of or behind cars.
3. Using Crosswalks: Always use designated crosswalks when crossing the parking lot. This helps in maintaining an organized flow of traffic and enhances safety for everyone.
4. Adhering to Speed Limits: Please drive at a safe and slow speed within the parking lot. Reducing speed helps to ensure that drivers have ample time to react to any unexpected situations and that everyone remains safe.
We appreciate your support in these efforts. Together, we can create a safer and more efficient environment for our students during these busy times.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
Warm regards,
Davina S. Parker
Principal
