Jacksonville, Fla. – Terry Parker High School is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its new Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Program, an exciting addition that will expand Career and Technical Education opportunities for students beginning in the 2027-2028 school year.
The program will provide students with the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications in automotive maintenance and repair while gaining the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to pursue careers in the automotive industry.
This milestone represents a significant investment in the future of Terry Parker students. The project includes the construction of a dedicated, state-of-the-art automotive laboratory and modern instructional classroom space designed to provide authentic, real-world learning experiences. Students will develop industry-relevant skills, engage in hands-on training, and explore pathways to rewarding careers for generations of Braves to come.
