CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Duval County Public School is excited to announce college scholarship opportunities available to students currently in grades K-8 attending a DCPS high school and are a US citizen thanks to our partnership with Florida Prepaid. Just one more week until Spring Break. Friday is the end of Quarter 3. After Friday, just 45 more school days until the end of the school year. Let's finish strong with attendance and completing all homework as given. 4th Quarter Attendance is critical to preparing for end of year state testing.

Just like last school year, students will have the opportunity to attend a Glow Party for having 90% attendance during the 4th Quarter. Last year's Glow Party was a HIT!! This is a free event where students get to enjoy dancing and snacks for simple coming to school. 🌟🎉More information to come!
