CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!

Fall Food Drive Information

Dear Waterleaf Families,
We invite you to participate in the Data Triangle Survey, open from October 6–21, 2025. This survey gathers feedback from students, staff, families, and community members to provide a complete view of school climate and experiences. Your input helps school and district leaders understand what’s working and where improvement is needed.

Who Should Participate:
All staff members, students in grades 4–5, families, and community members.

Survey Format:
The survey is available online with role-specific versions. Paper copies are available for parents and community members upon request through the school.

Why Your Voice Matters:
Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or community member, this is your chance to share your perspective. Your responses are confidential and will not be linked to your name. We’ll also ask a few optional background questions to better understand how experiences may differ across families and communities.

Time Commitment:
The survey takes about 10–15 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers — please respond honestly based on your experiences.

Access the Survey Here: https://www.duvalschools.org/o/dcps/page/surveys

Thank you for your time and feedback!
