Greetings Bronco Families,

I am honored and privileged to serve as the third-year principal of Westview PK-8 and to ensure student learning, academic support, family and community partnerships for the 2025-2026 academic school year.

We are continuing to grow at Westview PK-8. We are excited about all the possibilities this school year and to celebrate many successes. We offer almost all sports in our athletic program, we continue to progress in academic achievement, we employ top of the line medical health and support professionals for our most fragile students, and we are soaring to greater heights in our ELA and mathematics classrooms. All campus renovations are complete, and you can be assured that all students are in a secure, loving and student-centric atmosphere that will nurture and encourage the strengths possessed by all, to emerge and thrive with excellence. We invite and encourage your involvement in the learning and development of your child and look forward to connecting with each opportunity.

Instructionally, we are more focused than ever! Passionate and highly qualified teachers and support staff are dedicated to extracting the skills and expanding the knowledge your child possesses. Our top priorities for this academic school year are:

1)      Focus on literacy school wide

2)      Ensure the implementation of intervention & data monitoring

3)      Ensure consistent standards-aligned instruction

4)      Significantly reduce the number of days students are truant or absent

Evidence-based instructional materials and strategies have a significant effect on improving student outcomes. Providing high-quality, explicit instruction in the core content areas is a key factor in preventing learning difficulties. We are committed to servicing the” whole child.”

We are in the pursuit of excellence and that heavily involves you. Together, all things are possible and as we began another year at the “View”, we offer our commitment to communicate and embrace each encounter with you.

We will “unleash our power and soar” with all experiences this year!

In the best interest of children,

Mr. Jamie Griffin

Very Proud Principal

Welcome Back to School!
Theme: “Super Heroes – Unleash Your Super Power, Soar to Success!”

Dear Families and Students,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! We are thrilled to open our doors and our hearts to our amazing students and families for what promises to be a year filled with growth, discovery, and extraordinary success.

This year, we’re embracing the theme “Super Heroes – Unleash Your Super Power, Soar to Success!” Because at our school, every student, staff member, and family possesses unique strengths that make our community unstoppable. Whether it’s a kind heart, a brilliant mind, a gift for helping others, or the courage to try something new—your super power matters, and it belongs here.

Our school is a vibrant and inclusive community that proudly supports seven diverse programs:

  • 🧸 Headstart (3-year-olds)

  • 🌈 Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (4-year-olds)

  • 📘 Elementary School (Kindergarten–5th Grade)

  • 📚 Middle School (6th–8th Grade)

  • 💬 Communications and Social Skills (CSS) for students with Autism

  • 🌟 Participatory Level Access (PLA)

  • 🦽 Physically Impaired (PI) Program

Every program brings its own kind of magic to our campus, and we are honored to champion each and every student as they learn, lead, and take flight.

As we kick off the school year, we encourage families to partner with us in helping students embrace their potential, explore new ideas, and discover their super powers. Your support, engagement, and belief in our mission make all the difference.

Let’s lift each other higher, dream bolder, and SOAR to SUCCESS—together.

Welcome back, Super Heroes. The adventure begins now!

With excitement and appreciation,
Patrick Simon
