Good Afternoon Crown Point Families, This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of December 2nd. Beginning this Monday through the Friday before Winter Break, we will have holiday dress up days each day. Here are the dress up days for this week. On Monday, dress like an elf. On Tuesday, wear red and green. On Wednesday, wear blue and white. On Thursday, wear a beanie and scarf. On Friday, wear a plaid/flannel shirt. These next few messages are from our amazing PTA. The next All Pro Dad meeting will be taking place this Monday, December 2nd from 7:15am to 8:15am. This is an opportunity for our kids to showcase their dads (or father figures) and strengthen their relationships. Light refreshments will be served. You can now order your Wintertime Spirit Wear. Purchases can be placed online through the PTA's website or by sending cash back with the order form sent home. The Winterland Holiday Shoppe is returning December 9th to 13th. Our students will have a chance to purchase holiday gifts for family and friends. We also need volunteers to help set up the room, aid students with their purchases, and break down the shop. Good Afternoon Crown Point Families, This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of November 18th. This Monday, November 18th, is make-up picture day. Information was sent home, but if you have any questions, please call the main office and ask to speak to Ms. Kane. The last PTA General Meeting for 2024 will be taking place this Monday, November 18th @ 6pm following the SAC meeting. There will be a raffle and refreshments served. Additionally, this is the last week to purchase a SaveAround Jacksonville discount book. Proceeds will go to support our Safety Patrols and our library. This Wednesday, November 20th, is an early dismissal day. Dismissal will begin at 1:00. There is no school Wednesday, November 27th through the 29th, as we break for the Thanksgiving holiday. Good Afternoon Crown Point Families, This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of November 11th. There is no school on Monday, November 11th as we celebrate Veterans’ Day. There are 2 weeks left to take advantage of the PTA's SaveAround Jacksonville discount book fundraiser. Flyers have been sent home with more details. Please help them reach their goal! This Friday’s theme is Career Day. Students can dress up for the career they want. This Friday at 6:00 pm is our Safety Patrol-Sponsored Movie Night. Flyers with information on how to purchase tickets have been sent home. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as we get ready for an incredible week.

Students will be coming home with a Crown Point Wall of Honor form. If your child would like to submit a veteran to honor, please send in pic and info requested by Friday, Nov. 8th!

Good Afternoon Crown Point Families, This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of November 4th. Thank you to every family that participated in the many events we had last week. Whether it was Red Ribbon Week, Trunk or Treat, Book Fair, or Mad Scientist Day, we had so much participation and we have you all to thank for that. Please join us for All Pro Dads this Monday morning from 7:15 to 8:15. This is a memory-making gathering for our Crown Point students to show off their dads (or father figures) and strengthen their relationships. Light refreshments will be served. This Friday, we will be celebrating the importance of being kind to one another. “It’s Clear as Black and White: Be Kind to Everyone.” Everyone is encouraged to wear black and white on Friday. There is no school on Monday, November 11th as we celebrate Veterans’ Day. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as we get ready for an incredible week.

REMINDER: Today is an Early Dismissal Day and our Trunk or Treat is tonight from 5:00-6:30!

Good Afternoon Crown Point Families, This is Principal Hartley with your updates for the week of October 28th. Red Ribbon Week continues this week. Monday is Superhero Day as we all have the power to be drug free. Tuesday is Decades Day as we leave drugs in the past. On Wednesday, represent your Favorite Sports Team as we team up against drugs. This Wednesday, October 30th, is an Early Dismissal Day. Our PTA is hosting their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat in the Crown Point BUS LOOP from 5:00-6:30 pm. The Book Fair will also be open that night from 5:00-6:30. We apologize for any conflicting information that was posted regarding the times of these events. Please know that both Trunk or Treat and the Book Fair Family Night will run from 5:00-6:30. This Wednesday, October 31st, is our annual Mad Scientist Day. Each K-5 grade level will enjoy a fun science show put on by our very own Ms. Adams and Ms. Bickle. These shows will occur during each grade level’s resource time and parents are invited to attend the show. Please make sure you bring your ID as you will need it to enter the building. Students are also encouraged to dress up as mad scientists as the whole day will be dedicated to science. Please know that there IS school this Friday, November 1st. Please join us this Monday for our monthly School Advisory Council meeting at 5:30 immediately followed by our PTA board meeting. Red Ribbon Week begins this Thursday and carries on through next week. On Thursday, wear red to kick off Red Ribbon Week. On Friday, Wake up Drug Free and wear pajamas to school. All students must wear shoes and are not allowed to wear slippers. Next Wednesday, October 30th, is an Early Dismissal Day. Our PTA is hosting our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat in the Crown Point parking lot beginning at 5:00 pm on this day. The Book Fair will also be open that night from 5:00-6:30. As we continue to celebrate Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, we’re encourage everyone to dress up in clothing that represents Hispanic and/or Latin American countries. There is no school for students Monday, October 14th due to it being a teacher planning day. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as we get ready for an incredible week.

We will be participating in Jax Goes to College tomorrow, October 2nd. Students can come dressed as their future career or college they want to attend. We can't wait to see everyone dress up!
